Two Juba League leaders arrested in Pabna with arms and Bullets
Detective Branch (DB) police have arrested two Juba League leaders in Pabna with arms and ammunition. The arrested are Pabna District Juba League convening committee member Md. Ajmal Sheikh (35) and Md. Raj Ahmed Rony (40).
Thursday (April 29) at noon at the District Superintendent of Police (DB office premises) at a press conference. Mahibul Islam Khan BPM gave information about the night operation.
He said a team of DB police conducted a search operation in the small Shalgarhia mahalla of the municipal area on Wednesday night on the basis of secret information.
After going there, Ajmal Sheikh was arrested who accused in multiple cases including murder. .
A foreign pistol and seven rounds of bullets were recovered from him.
At the same time, DB police found another illegal sexually stimulating syrup factory at the same place. A large quantity of sexually stimulating syrup was seized during the operation.
From there the owner of this illegal secret company Late Afzal Hossain’s son Raj Ahmed Rony was arrested.
According to the Superintendent of Police, DB police sub-inspectors Asit Kumar and Sagar Kumar Saha have filed a case against Ajmal Sheikh under the Illegal Weapons Act and Raj Ahmed Rony for making fake sexually stimulating syrup.
Also present at the press conference – Additional Superintendent of Police Masud Alam, Additional Superintendent of Police (Sadar Circle). Rokanuzzaman, DB OC Abdul Hannan, DB Inspector of Police Jinnah Sarkar.
In this regard, the convener of Pabna District Juba League Ali Muturza Biswas Soni said, the party will not take responsibility if anyone commits terrorist and illegal activities in the name of Juba League. Organizational measures will be taken against them.
