Coronavirus has killed 77 people in the last 24 hours across the country
In the last one day, 6 more people have died due to the epidemic of coronavirus. A total of 11,305 people have died of coronavirus so far across the country.
Meanwhile, 2,955 new cases of coronavirus have been identified across the country. As a result, the total number of coronavirus patients identified across the country has increased to seven lakh 54 thousand 614 people.
According to a press release issued by the Department of Health, 5,392 people have become tax-free in the last 24 hours. A total of 6 lakh 82 thousand 319 people have recovered so far across the country.
Besides, samples have been collected from 26,426 people in the last 24 hours. Twenty-eight thousand 206 samples have been tested. The detection rate is 10.48 percent compared to the sample test. A total of forty four lakh twenty three thousand 630 samples have been tested so far across the country. The detection rate is 13.91 percent of the total tests.
Of the 7 people who died in the last 24 hours, 48 were from Dhaka division. Meanwhile, 9 people died in Chittagong, 5 in Rajshahi division, 6 in Khulna, 5 in Barisal division, 2 in Sylhet, 1 in Rangpur and 2 in Mymensingh.
Of the 6 people who died in 24 hours, 43 were men and 34 were women. Only 1 of them died at home. Of the 11,305 people who have died from coronavirus so far, 8,269 are men and 3,038 are women.
In the age-based analysis, 52 of the corona patients who died in the last 24 hours were over 60 years of age. Besides, there are 12 people aged 51 to 60 years, three people aged 41 to 50 years, 6 people aged 31 to 40 years and 3 people aged 21 to 30 years.
